Installation and configuration of the Rootways Moneris payment gateway for Magento 2 is very easy. Add your Moneris account information after installing our extension and it is all done, Moneris payment method will be available for your Magento store or website.

Test credit card numbers for generating test order using Moneris payment method. NOTE: These cards will not work with Moneris live account.

API Based Payment Method

Rootways Moneris Payment Gateway extension has API based credit card payment method which allows a user to enter a credit card on the Magento checkout page and capture payment to the Moneris account without leaving the Magento website.

Hosted Payment Page Payment Method:

This extension also has a second payment method called Moneris Hosted Payment Page, which allows users to enter a credit card to the Moneris secure hosted payment page rather than to the Magento server. When a user clicks on the Place Order button from the Magento checkout final step, it will be redirected to the Moneris Hosted Payment Page to enter credit card details, and if the payment detail is correct, then the user will be redirected to the Magento success page.

Interac Online (Online Banking)

Rootways Moneris INTERAC® Online Payment is a payment method for Magento 2 website that offers cardholders the ability to pay online using their online banking.

For a list of participating banks please refer to the Interac list of Participating Financial Institutions.

Hosted Payment Form:

This feature will load the hosted payment form on the checkout page. Users will enter all credit card details in the Moneris iframe instead of the Magento checkout page. Hosted payment makes it more secure and PCI compliant.

To solve this issue, please contact the Moneris Online Payment Support team (eProduct team) and they will ask you to complete the certification process at this link https://developer.moneris.com/en/More/Register/Interac%20Online%20Certification After that, it should work without any issues.
