In Elavon/Converge dashboard order shows "Transaction Status = Error"

This usually happens if your Elavon account is new. When you place an order from Magento with a real credit card, everything works fine, but when the same order is searched in the Elavon virtual terminal, it will show "Transaction Status = Error". This means that your account has not been switched to live mode yet. Please call Elavon Tech Support and ask them to make your account live.
